MALVIK PERMAVEGGIES 2012 COURSE PICTURES: DAY 4

A course in Permavegetables was arranged in Trondheim, Malvik and Hommelvik 10 – 13 May. Here are my photos from Day 4, which was a collaboration withTrondheim Useful Plants Society, where we went for a magical walk down the Homla-canyon, an almost perfectly straight, deep and very geologically and biologically rich canyon. Amazingly enough, very few experience how wonderful nature is in our Kommune as it is a closely kept secret (Malvik clearly doesn’t want tourists! )Thanks to a campaign against developing the river system for hydroelectricity in the 90’s a path was constructed along the valley and it is no longer only salmon fishermen who can experience this! The participants on the course who came from different parts of the country were clearly very impressed/ in awe of this wonderful place!!
