Lomatiums or Biscuit roots from Alan Kapuler

A picture from the past. In December 2013, I had just sown 11 different Lomatiums (Biscuit Roots), perennial herbs from North America with edible starchy roots, and widely used by Native Americans…..a nice diversity in seed shape and size…they were stratified outside and several germinated spring 2014 and 2015…thanks to Alan Kapuler and Peace Seeds in Oregon who were working on selecting for better forms 1511153_10152078218040860_1215748324_n:)
