It’s too cold in summer here to grow reasonably sized sweet potatoes – last year I grew in a large pot which I moved into the living room. Have been harvesting the shoots as a vegetable all winter and today harvested the roots. Leaving for New Zealand on Tuesday, a country where fish and kumara chips is common!
