2015 Oca harvest

This almost became my 2016 Oca harvest, harvested on the last day of the year, New Year’s Eve 2015! I had moved my pot grown Ocas, mashuas and ullucos indoors in October before the first frost into a cool room in the house. They need a long frost free autumn to yield well! This is one of the best yields I’ve had!

Not a large total yield, but these ullucos are the biggest ever here! These were actually grown in my living room all winter and they flowered towards spring. Need to experiment a bit more…
