On Monday 20th July as part of the Danish long weekend visit, we walked down to Storfossen, the largest waterfall in my area. Here’s an album of pictures taken, mainly of fungi which thanks to the cool damp summer were already in evidence! Let me know if you can help with identification….no time to key them out…
We found three edible species which were eaten for dinner – Hedgehog fungus / piggsopp, Wood mushroom/snøballsjampinjong (Agaricus sylvicola) and the Orange birch bolete / Rødskrubb (Leccinum versipelle)
