Home grown trees in 2 months!!

No, I’m not kidding….for if you are building a model railway, you might do just that! Well, a dimunitive member of the goosefoot family, Chenopodium aristatum, known as sea foam flower or sea foam moss does resemble tiny trees in structure when seeding. I originally learnt this many years ago when I had this species on my seed list and was contacted by a model railway enthusiast who was struggling to find seed.  I love useful plants that tell stories, so although not an edible that will help hunger it gets a place in my garden (I’ve just sown seed again!)

  1. Hi, Your garden prosjekt, garden living, looks so fantastic! My name is Wendi Stråbø.
I’m wondering if it is possible to visit your garden. I’m living in Volda, Sunnmøre, where we do have a big garden. Full of nice weedIt would be lovely to get some inspiration and learn more from you and your garden. I will be in Trondheim three whole days; 24.- 27. july visiting my daughter and her family.
