Lindesnes Fyr / Lighthouse

At the southern end of Norway is Lindesnes Lighthouse. The first light was lit here as far back as 1656! I visited mainly to get some more of the old topset / etasjeløk which dates back to at least the 1930s. This is one of the onions which will be in the new collection of old Norwegian onions at the botanical gardens in Oslo. It was good to meet the lighthouse keeper Kjell Olsen who I’d previously communicated with by email!
