King’s Spear Bulgarian salad

A slow food edimental salad from Bulgaria. courtesy of my friends Maria Tariyska and  Ivan Kamburov. Some pictures of the plant in the wild too! The yellow flowers are Asphodeline lutea (King’s Spear). I’ve never had the chance to taste this, but it’s my friend Tycho Rosehip’s favourite flower – tasty and a beauty! Hope to find this at Hilliers tomorrow!
