My lovely daughter Corylus avellana is home again and I made this salad for her with a tomato called Moonglow, grown in her old bedroom in the loft, so it had to be a moonglow salad :)
The waxing crescent moonglow salad (the phase of the moon here tonight!)…and the full moonglow salad version :)
Magic happened again last night! I noticed a large halo around the moon when I went to bed at about midnight and was trying to photograph it. That was pretty unusual in itself…and then the aurora decided to join in…and then the Aliens arrived (from Copenhagen)!! WOW!
One month from midsummer and it’s now still a bit light at midnight!Noticed the full moon from my balcony just before going to bed last night! It was hanging in one of my Norway spruce trees. I wonder what it was doing there? ;)
Last night’s almost full moon…and the sun was going down, now in the north west and reflecting in my office window, folk in the background fishing on Malvikodden
