{"id":30521,"date":"2022-09-03T20:12:19","date_gmt":"2022-09-03T18:12:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.edimentals.com\/blog\/?p=30521"},"modified":"2022-09-03T20:12:21","modified_gmt":"2022-09-03T18:12:21","slug":"flowering-aster-scaber","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.edimentals.com\/blog\/?p=30521","title":{"rendered":"Flowering Aster scaber"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>September is the month when several Asteraceae are in flower including one of my favourite perennial vegetables and edimentals <em>Aster scaber<\/em> (yes, I know it&#8217;s officially <i>Doellingeria scabra<\/i>) or chamchwi in Korea where it&#8217;s cultivated commercially for Korean markets around the world (often sold dried). It&#8217;s also popular with pollinating insects as can be seen in the gallery taken this week here.<\/p>\n<div id='gallery-1' class='gallery galleryid-30521 gallery-columns-1
