This broad-leaved selection came from a seednmix of Allium senescens x nutans from Mark McDonough

A nice walk at Vennafjellet just over the border in Selbu kommune on Monday! We started at Svendalstjørna,walked over to the old seter (mountain farm) at Engavollen and back via the top of Faseknipen.

This plant was much bigger than others I found, so I’ve planted it in the garden…looking for good forms for future cultivation!
A flock of 68 oystercatchers (tjeld) flew past the house this evening, by far the largest flock recorded in Malvik during autumn (July onwards) :)
