{"id":9840,"date":"2017-01-19T14:09:17","date_gmt":"2017-01-19T13:09:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.edimentals.com\/blog\/?p=9840"},"modified":"2017-01-19T14:09:17","modified_gmt":"2017-01-19T13:09:17","slug":"rhodiola-research-in-norway","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.edimentals.com\/blog\/?p=9840","title":{"rendered":"Rhodiola research in Norway"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>From 2001, Bioforsk (the Norwegian Institute for Agricultural and Environmental Research, now NIBIO) department in Kise, Hedmark started collecting plant material of roseroot (<em>Rhodiola rosea<\/em>) from all over Norway. A field collection of some 97 clones resulted at Kise and analyses of the adaptogen components were reported by Steinar Dragland and Ruth Mordal in 2006. It was found that levels of the active chemicals was higher in the populations in Northern Norway than in the south and a selection was made called \u201cKise Mix\u201d used to establish plants in different places around the country.<\/p>\n<p>Ref: Dragland and Mordal, 2006.
