data-offset-key=\"pmiv-0-0\"><span data-text=\"true\">The most hardy winter greens in my garden are mostly rich in sulfur compounds including various onions (<em>Allium<\/em>) and onion-tasting brassica, Garlic mustard (l\u00f8kurt), <em>Alliaria petiolata<\/em> or is it just coincidence that <em>Allium<\/em>s and <em>Alliaria<\/em> are both very hardy.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"bhpum\" data-offset-key=\"5f5m6-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"5f5m6-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"5f5m6-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"5f5m6-0-0\"><span data-text=\"true\">Does the sulfur play a role in giving these plants hardiness?\u00a0The only other plant that I can harvest a little of in midwinter is <em>Hablitzia tamnoides<\/em> (although it turns red in the coldest weather).<\/p>\n<p><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/div>\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" \/ biannual that germinates in the autumn here and the leaves often make it through the winter and can be eaten in
