{"id":24060,"date":"2019-12-02T14:19:12","date_gmt":"2019-12-02T13:19:12","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.edimentals.com\/blog\/?p=24060"},"modified":"2019-12-02T15:57:55","modified_gmt":"2019-12-02T14:57:55","slug":"heavy-snow-and-mother-of-pearls","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.edimentals.com\/blog\/?p=24060","title":{"rendered":"Heavy snow and mother of pearls"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Woke up this morning to a beautiful sight of deep snow on the balcony and mother of pearl clouds (perlemorskyer) in the sky.\u00a0 Added to the garden full of birds all day (still over 200 waxwings \/ sidensvans), a white-tailed eagle soaring over the bay and herons (gr\u00e5hegre) flying past, it doesn&#8217;t get much better. I even enjoyed the hour shoveling snow!<br \/>\nApparently there hasn&#8217;t been so much snow in Trondheim for 93 years so early in December (much less snow here than higher up though).<br \/>\nHowever, the forecast tomorrow is +8C and 30mm of rain&#8230;with the soil below frozen, this could become quite a mess!<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone
