{"id":24035,"date":"2019-11-30T16:45:57","date_gmt":"2019-11-30T15:45:57","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.edimentals.com\/blog\/?p=24035"},"modified":"2019-11-30T17:16:24","modified_gmt":"2019-11-30T16:16:24","slug":"the-first-winter-shoots","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.edimentals.com\/blog\/?p=24035","title":{"rendered":"The first winter shoots"},"content":{"rendered":"<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"eaisl\" data-offset-key=\"1153o-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"1153o-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"1153o-0-0\">A nice contrast between the winter&#8217;s first shoots on the window sill (sown about 1 week ago) as the storm rages outside :)<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"eaisl\" data-offset-key=\"4t9et-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"4t9et-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"4t9et-0-0\">These are shoots of bulbils (topsets) of one of my hardneck garlics: either Aleksandra, Estonian Red or Valdres &#8211; all produce many medium sized bulbils of perfect size for winter forcing for the shoots which I use mainly with lunch.<\/span><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"\" data-block=\"true\" data-editor=\"eaisl\" data-offset-key=\"ascgf-0-0\">\n<div class=\"_1mf _1mj\" data-offset-key=\"ascgf-0-0\"><span data-offset-key=\"ascgf-0-0\">This and the edible scapes (flower stems) and good sized garlic cloves make these varieties my favourites. NB!
