Although Aralia cordata (Japanese Udo) had a hi<span class=\"text_exposed_show\">nt of bitterness after blanching, the spikenard was mild with no bitterness&#8230;a bit like cucumber was my guest&#8217;s comment\u00a0<span class=\"_47e3 _5mfr\" title=\"smile emoticon\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"img\" role=\"presentation\" src=\"https:\/\/static.xx.fbcdn.net\/images\/emoji.php\/v9\/f4c\/1\/16\/1f642.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"16\" height=\"16\" \/><\/span><br \/>\nNB!
