{"id":4073,"date":"2016-03-02T16:14:39","date_gmt":"2016-03-02T15:14:39","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.edimentals.com\/blog\/?page_id=4073"},"modified":"2021-03-02T21:38:47","modified_gmt":"2021-03-02T20:38:47","slug":"celery-leaf-pine","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/www.edimentals.com\/blog\/?page_id=4073","title":{"rendered":"Celery Leaf Pine"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Somebody was discussing an unusual coniferous genus on the Rare Plant Enthusiasts FB group, so I dug out this picture of my celery leaf pine from NZ (Phyllocladus trichomanoides). I grow it as a pot plant as it&#8217;s very unlikely to be hardy, mainly for its curiosity value, not edible as far as I know although it does produce a berry like aril surrounding the seed (it will never get big enough here).
