{"id":3454,"date":"2016-01-13T17:35:04","date_gmt":"2016-01-13T16:35:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.edimentals.com\/blog\/?page_id=3454"},"modified":"2016-01-13T17:35:04","modified_gmt":"2016-01-13T16:35:04","slug":"botanising-the-oregon-coast","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"http:\/\/www.edimentals.com\/blog\/?page_id=3454","title":{"rendered":"Botanising the Oregon coast"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>On 27th August 2015, Chris Homanics took me on a great botanical trip along the beautiful Oregon coast between Florence and Yachats.<br \/>\nWe first visited the amazing Darlingtonia Wayside Reserve which I blogged about here:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.edimentals.com\/blog\/?page_id=3447\">http:\/\/www.edimentals.com\/blog\/?page_id=3447<\/a><br \/>\nWe then botanized in an area of open pine forest with an interesting understory of berry bushes, e.g., Vaccinium ovatum or Evergreen Huckleberry, which was covered in tasty berries as well as a native Rhododendron!
