Jackdaw acrobatics
A flock of some 150 jackdaws were having fun this morning playing acrobatics in the wind!
September sunrise
I don’t have to wake up in the middle of the night to see the sunrise, now at around 6 am!

Bi-coloured fjord
The fjord was looking greeny blue all day in the sun, perhaps coloured by an algal bloom, then the wind picked up and a front moved across the fjord with cloud giving this amazing view of a two coloured fjord…closest to us in shade! The temperature plummeted from around 23C to 13C in short time.
Whirligig light show in Skatval
Strange goings on…on the other side of the fjord in Skatval :)
Early morning 18th June 2018
4am!
Dawn on 20th May 2018
Woken at 4:15 by a newly arrived garden warbler (hagesanger) (or is it just a blackcap?) singing at full throttle in the garden (sorry about the focus, I was half asleep and didn’t notice!). A few minutes later the sun rose as fishermen motored out onto the still fjord.
